2014 A-Z Challenge

Hi all,

It has been awhile.  I decided the best way for me to get back into the swing of the blogging world was to just jump right in with the A-Z Challenge. So I spent the last few hours trying to decide on a theme for this year’s challenge. And guess what, I have one.

Get ready to take a little jaunt around the sites of my hometown in Co. Waterford. A beautiful spot, even if I do say so myself.

A is for Abbeyside

Abbeyside is the village I am from. A seaside village nestled on the south east coast of Ireland. It is across the bridge from Dungarvan. Yes, literally on the side of the Abbey. The Augustinian Abbey founded in the 13th Century. The same Abbey I was married in.

Hi Ann .. welcome back and what a lovely place to have lived ... I've driven around there .. a girlfriend's parents lived near Cork and I went over .. Ireland is beautiful. Abbeyside looks lovely - I hope it wasn't damaged too much in the recent storms .. cheers Hilary

Welcome back. Hope that all is well. I have to thank Arlee Bird once more for the A to Z challenge. We get to see people who have been away.
