Great award for a truly over the top blog! Interesting place you grew up in lol!
Another award coming your way! Cause your blog is great! come over and pick it up!
Funny how one word answers can be trickier - where you would assume at first thought they would be easier.?
I enjoyed reading your list and I like the colour Lavender too. :-)
Hi!!!
Hello Ms Abbrobyoklchimonsidonaey!
Brilliant - oooh I like your favourite colour "Lavender".
Take care
x
Excellent! I was trying to think of one word answers to these questions but really struggled on a few, especially the pets!
CJ xx
Hi CJ, Yes those one word answers can be a ..... well let’s just stick with challenge shall we.
Thanks Karen for the new award another challenge for me! Honestly
Old Kitty and Susannah, I love not only the colour but also the scent of Lavender. Soothing to look at, soothing smell and a lavender bath is just heaven.
OMG - an award for my new blog! Wow! Thanks a mill from bottom of my desk!
I am very glad ur last post explained the where u grew up answer - otherwise I would have been on to Siobhan wondering if u were OK?
I guess I have to answer the questions too??? OMG - with one word. What a challenge.
Love your blog and your posts are always interesting - so congrats to u!
Thanks for the wonderful comments Barbara. It is a real challenge isn't it, one word answers!! Love your new blog. Still depressed by that tidy kitchen table......
Thanks, Ann! I've never received a blogging award before so this is rather exciting. It will take me a while to think of answers to some of the questions. Really just one word each? And the rule is to nominate four people?
Congrats! So where would you like to be in 6 years??
Hi W2W I think the rule is to actually nominate five. I sort of missed that one. Those one word answers are tougher than I thought they would be. Looking forward to reading your award post.
Hi Niamh, I needed more than one word to express that one. Alive might have been a better answer! LOL
I love seeing new bloggers getting awards and being so excited! I say that like I'm old hat at this, but I've only been on here since September...
Onwards...I clicked over from Patricia Stoltey's blog and find your profile intriguing. Split your time between Wisconsin and Ireland? How does that work? And what kind of writing do you do? Mysteries? YA? Women's lit?
Almost forgot--what is Aga?
Writing Prompt Wednesdays today on my blog!

Hi Ann, tough one answering those questions, congrats on your award, agree that your blog always interesting and a pleasure to read,
Aga would be on my wish list too, have modern house that not going to happen,
Thanks so much for the nomination, so exciting,
Brigid
Hi Michele,
Thanks so much for dropping by and leaving a comment. Spend the Academic year in Wisconsin. Go home to Ireland at the end of May until the end of August and every second Christmas. An aga is the most wonderful cooker and oven. Had one in my house in Ireland. I miss it terribly. My writing is...well I really don't know where it fits. Short Stories, poetry, I am testing the waters at present. I had a look at your Writing prompt Wednesday. I am contemplating. :)
Hi Brigid,
Yes trying to answer a question in one word is a real challenge. Delighted you enjoy reading my blog. Too sad about the Aga!
