A little poem. It is just something I needed to post.
It is not good. I didn't spend any time editing and rewriting it.
I wrote it and decided to post it without editing.
Sorry!!! Oh and by the way I'm Back. Well for the moment anyway.

Life did not offer the opportunity to follow my dreams.
I made the best of what came my way.
I tried to ensure the success of those that followed.
But still
you look on me with disdain.
It breaks my heart
I cry with despair
at your rejection
but know if it was not for my failures
you would not be who you are today.

Your poem is beautiful. Thought provoking though.
Welcome back and I hope that you are here to stay. A lot of time I do not have the energy to write. Because of my asthma and then because of my stomach ache ( due to the side effects of meds.) I am unable to write but there are ideas in my head.
You blog title makes readers want more to read.

Hi Ann, I love this poem but in reading it I feel that it is the product of a pain. I hope the pain is not yours. Take care.

Ann nice to see you back on blogosphere - I too have been very remiss and haven't blogged since Christmas just a general apathy I think, life is busy and has its ups and downs and I seem to spend time on Facebook and Twitter, the so-called microblogging platforms. I don't think Blogging's had its day just for now for me it's not that easy! Hope all well with you.

Awwww this poem is so sad! :-( And it makes me a little angry too - you mc gave all he or she is to this person who is totally ungrateful!! Oh dear!!

But it's lovely - heartfelt and very emotional!! Yay!! Take care

Hi Ann, a sad but beautiful little piece. Good to know that you are back blogging. Just off to visit a few of my blogging buddies ... I've been away too for some time.
